Background Infomation
The Innovation is carried out in the senior grade of a grammar school of a small town. The school with its approximately 730 students and 56 members of the teaching staff has a large catchment area due to the area's rather rural nature. The majority of the students come from families without any social problems. A special emphasis is laid on the new media in the school. Computers and the Internet are frequently integrated into the normal lessons. In addition, the "multimedia centre" with the "Open Channel", the library and the "district's education centre" are located on the school premises as well. In the school much emphasis is laid on the globalisation of the school, which can be seen in the several projects progressing during and outside the lessons. One of these projects is the economy project, which provides not only an insight into economic relationships but also some help in dealing with the new media.

Culture
Teacher doubt that the cooperation between business and school would be fail because teacher thinks that company would only be profit oriented.
Solution
“The initiators soften the problem by inviting the whole teaching staff to a one-day training programme with visits to companies and seminars about the procedures of the business consulting.”
Resources
Innovation team needs more time to spend for regular lessons, since the project which is combined within the curriculum of the normal lessons. Those teachers involve in the project seems over tired already. Only one point that motives them to move on is curiosity.
Solution
“No ultimate solution has been found up to now.””Teach students the basic concept related to economy in lessons at the junior high school and so to prepare them for better for the project”
In this case, the transferability includes using internet research during the lessons. Several subjects started to use internet research and students are using PowerPoint to present their ideas.
Ownership
Not enough companies joined the project for students to studies. Most of the business companies think that I don’t know who you are, why I have to trust you and let you analyze me. Those companies only thinking of one-side profit and don’t bought into the new projects.
Solution
Encourage those companies in various motives, including commercial effect, explore a new generate employees, reputation etc.
Idea Management System
The core person in this project is the project manager, he motivate all the teachers, students and companies. He is the “engine” of the innovation. The project manager captures ideas and evaluates those opinions to engage people to involve in the project. The school administration also plays an important role to sustain the innovation to regular project.
Success
In this case, the economy project help students to built up business concept and apply those knowledge in textbook into real business company. The project provides various chances for students construct their knowledge by themselves, create many opportunities for students cooperate with others. Besides, students have to learn how to tackle the problem they face and how to communicate with teachers, partners and business consultancy. Teacher transfer the role from knowledge provider to co-learner, as the subject matter was relatively new for teachers.
